Paperbacks!

It’s always so exciting when the paperbacks arrive! No matter how routine it is, the thrill never palls.

No matter that Amazon makes it all but impossible to order proof copies. No matter that there is always some glitch somewhere. No matter that the courier stood on my porch without a mask and expected me to come to him to take the box. (No, thanks, sir. Just put it down and back away slowly. I’ll disinfect it from a good distance.)

They’re here, and that makes up for everything!

Paperbacks are now available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and hopefully more and more places as IngramSpark’s distribution system gets cranking.

Congratulations! I am looking forward to reading this! I can’t believe he wasn’t wearing a mask!!! I do the same when I get an order…clean my books with a disinfectant wipe and dry off with a paper towel! Stay safe & healthy!

He was a Purolator delivery guy as well! I was shocked.
And yes, I know the current wisdom is that we don’t need to disinfect everything, but I’m still there with my tub of Lysol wipes every time something comes into the house.
I hope you enjoy the book, and stay well!

    Congratulations!!

I am a bit of germophobic myself. I keep anything (mail/books) out in an area – untouched for 3 days and if they have a good cover I gently do disinfect at times. (Careful not to destroy the book/pages). I love the smell and feel of a new book.

My front door area is littered with the outer boxes of things we bring into the house. We pull the contents out with tentative fingertips and disinfect everything we can find. Three or four days later I finally dare get close enough to the outer boxes to dispose of them. Sigh… won’t it be nice when the world is safe again?
